Initial Pallet Stall Designs

So I have begun to start mocking up some initial ideas for the structure of the pallet retail 'booths' for my float. I have modeled the pallets off the standard European Pallet Association (EPAL).

The EUR/EPAL pallet is 1200x800x144 mm; it is a four-way pallet made of wood that is nailed with 78 special nails in a prescribed pattern. I have chosen to use pallets in my design as they are readily available and easily reused. I have decided on this size due to the fact that because it is conforms to the standardizing sizing regulations, all of the pallets allows to be reused to other industries / companies on a 'pallet for pallet' system.

A consideration I must take into consideration is that the final pallet weighs between 20 to 25kgs. This means that the ability of adaption of the stall by the retailer will be limited, unless they want to move potentially 25kgs.

Below are images of my continual brainstorming of potential design ideas starting from the very first modelled pallet.

During the process of brainstorming the above, I did a couple of quick renders to see them clearer and without the outlines of every pallet as this especially from a distance, morphs into a black blur. I also wanted to try and get a better visualisation of the shadows that these pallets will cast because I feel that these have quite a nice aesthetic to them.

I am not really interested in using any of these as I feel that there are still better designs I could think of. Therefore I will go back to the drawing board, but before that I will show where I am at class on Thursday to get some feedback and then I might adapt accordingly.
