Renders and Adding Materials

Thinking ahead to my poster, I must have some 'hero' images that really make my design stand out. Therefore I have spent some time rendering my design and working out how to create realistic water in sketch-up/indigo. These will be adding and reinforcing my technical drawings that I will be exporting from sketch-up due to time restraints. I have chosen in order to help emulate traditional Ottoman architecture, my float will be painted to give the impression of a stone texture and materialism. I have also managed to book office hours with Jen tomorrow to gain some invaluable feedback before presentation on Thursday on how my design is looking at the moment.

As my design strategy outlines, from yesterday, I must start allocating at least 2 hours a day from here on out to my essay paper - 237.300 - Creative Cultures and Ideas. If I do not do this, I will run out of time to complete my essay in time for hand-in on Friday 5pm. This cannot happen. Therefore I must become more efficient with my time as I feel like I am wasting valuable time on fiddly little things that will not help my design as a whole.
